Bei dem Monokular hier handelt es sich um ein monokulares Dienstglas der deutschen Wehrmacht aus dem 2. Weltkrieg. Es trägt den Code "ddx", welcher für die Fa. Voigtländer & Söhne aus Braunschweig steht. Als Seriennummer ist 328805 sowie das Dreieckssymbol für temperaturbeständige Dichtungsfette zur Benutzung unter extremen Wetterbedingungen eingeprägt. Das Trageband, soweit überhaupt Original, ist gerissen. |
This monocular is a "Dienstglas" (military glass) of the German "Wehrmacht" from WWII. The code "ddx" on its prism cover stands for the Voigtlaender & Sons firm in Brunswick (Germany). The prism cover is also stamped with the serial number 328805 as well as the trinagle symbol denoting a possible usage at extreme temperatures due to special greasing. The strap, if original at all, has broken. The metal body and its covers are still partly or were lacquered with a sand colour paint. |
