Monokulare Handfernrohre gibt es momentan weltweit mehr als ich anfänglich dachte. Umfangreiche Recherchen per Internet ergaben eine breite Palette an Monokular-Anbietern, welche gleiche, ähnliche oder auch besondere Modelle herstellen und vertreiben.

Ein großer Teil der Standardmonokulare (ohne Nahfokus) scheint in China oder Russland produziert zu werden und könnte dort kostengünstig bezogen werden. Hochwertigere Monokulare (mit Nahfokus) kommen oft aus Japan. Nicht alle Monokulare sind problemlos oder überhaupt im deutschsprachigen Raum erhältlich. In der Regel lassen sich aber alle Geräte per Internet(-Shops) beziehen – leider z.T. mit hohen Versandkosten. Eine Reihe an Monokularen findet sich bei Internetauktionen (www.ebay.de oder www.ebay.com) wieder.

There are much more handheld monoculars worldwide than I thought in the beginning. Comprehensive research in the internet showed a range of firms that produce or distribute similar and special monocular models.

A big part of the common monoculars (without short focus) seems to be produced in China or Russia, and one could buy them for low prices there. High grade monoculars (with short focus) are often made in Japan. Not every monocular can be bought easily or at all in German speaking countries. The same applies for other countries, of course. A good source are internet auctions like www.ebay.com.
