Leitz "Mondimar" 10x60
| Das Mondimar Monokular von Leitz mit den Werten 10x60 und einem Sehfeld von 5.8° wurde zwischen 1937-1959 hergestellt. Das abgebildete Modell hat die Seriennummer 561342 (unvergütet). Beide Deckel sind zweifach verschraubt; der untere ist auch mit "Germany" beschriftet. Ein weiteres "Mondimar" mit linksseitigem Okular hat die Seriennummer 506941 (514634 vergütet). Das Modell mit Nr. 561349 hat ein nachträglich angebautes Stativgewinde. Die Augenmuschel ist aus Kunststoff, das rechtseitige Okular hat einen Dioptrienausgleich von + bis - 5 auf einer umlaufenden Strichskala. Der Referenzstrich ist am seitlichen Deckelrand eingezeichnet. Das Prismengehäuse und der konische Objektivtubus sind mit einem strukturierten Kunstleder ummantelt. |
The Mondimar Monocular made by Leitz was produced between 1937 and 1959 with the following specifications: 10x60, f.o.v. 5.8° . The model in the picture has S/N 561342 (uncoated). Both covers have two screws. The bottom cover is also marked "Germany". Another "Mondimar" with left-hand sided eyepiece has the serial number 506941 (514634 coated). Model no. 561349 comes with a tripod thread attached some time after production. The eyecup is made of plastic. The right-hand sided ocular has a +/-5 dioptre adjustment with a scale running completely around the eyepiece. The refernce line is marked at the rim of the top cover. The prism housing and the conical objective tube have some textured fake leather covering. |

| Das "Mondimar 10x60" mit Nr. 589920 hat einen passend beschrifteten Monokulardeckel, der aber wahrscheinlich auf die rechte Hälfte eines Fernglases geschraubt wurde. die Gummiaugenmuschel sowie der Gummischutzring für das Objektiv sind nicht original, fast die gesamte Hartgummiummantelung fehlt und eine Fernglasbrücke ist vorhanden. | The "Mondimar 10x60" with number 589920 has a cover plate with fitting markings of a monocular, but seems to be a refurbished right half of a binocualr. The rubber eyecip and riubber protection ring of the obejctive are not original. Almost all the Ebonite covering has peeled off, and a binocualr bridge is cast-in. |
