Görz 7x oder 10x 52.5 Monocular

Die monokulare Variante des Perpax (7x oder 10x 52,5) liegt hier wahrscheinlich als 7x Modell vor. Die Beschriftung ist lediglich "C.P. Goerz Berlin" im Linsenlogo. Der Tubus läuft etwas konisch zu. Laut Bsitzer ist die Augenmuschel und die Belederung nicht original, so dass es sich auch um den linken Teil eines Perpax-Fernglases handelt. Weitere Angaben liegen nicht vor. Das Besondere an der Bauart ist, dass das Glas ein Schmidt-Dachkantprismensystem hat, wie es heute gängig für Monokulare Verwendung findet, damals (1920er) aber ungewöhnlich bzw. einzigartig war.

Here we have the 7x model of the Perpax monocular version (7x or 10x 52.5). It is only marked "C.P. Goerz Berlin" in the lens logo. The tube is slightly conical. According to the owner the eye-cup and the leather covering are being not original, so this rather is the left side of a Perpax binocular. No other specifications are available. As a special feature, the glass had a Schmidt rooftop prism which is commonly used today in monoculars but was quite unusual or unique at that time (1920s).
