| Das Fournier Prismen-Teleskop vom Typ V hat einen Okularrevolver mit drei Vergrößerungen. Diese sind 14fach, 21fach und 28fach. Die Beschriftungsscheibe in der Mitte des Okularrevolvers ist mit dem Firmenlogo "G. Fournier Paris V - 39" und den Vergrößerungsstufen nahe der Okulare graviert. Das Objektiv ist 50mm im Durchmesser. Die Okulare haben eine komplett umlaufende Dioptrienskala, gekennzeichnet bei null und jeweils Fünf bei Plus und Minus. Der konische Objektivtubus mit angegossenem Prismengehäuse (Porro II Prismen), der 5fach verschraubte Gehäusedeckel und Okulartubus sind mit einem anthrazit-farbigen Raulack beschichtet. Der Messing-Okularrevolver ist grau lackiert, die Metallteile der Okulare schwarz, wobei die mi t Schräubchen gesicherten Okularhülsen blank. Am Objektivtubus befindet sich eine Schwalbenschwanzmontierung. Der aufsteckbare Blendschutz fehlt (vgl. Pietrini: Le Grande Guerre des Jumelles, vol. II, S. 266) und es gibt keine Strichplatte. |
The Fournier Type V prism telescope has a three-magnification eyepiece turret: 14x, 21x, and 28x. The inscription disc in the center of the turret is engraved with the company logo "G. Fournier Paris V - 39" and the magnification settings near the eyepieces. The objective lens has a 50mm diameter. The eyepieces feature a full-circumference diopter scale, marked at zero and five at both plus and minus. The conical objective tube with its cast-in prism housing (Porro II prisms), the five-screwed housing cover, and the eyepiece tube are coated with an anthracite-coloured textured lacquer. The brass eyepiece turret is painted grey, the metal parts of the eyepieces are black, except for the once screw-secured eyepiece sleeves, which are unpainted. The objective tube uses a dovetail mount. The attachable sunshade is missing (cf. Pietrini: Le Grande Guerre des Jumelles, vol. II, p. 266) and there is no reticle. |
