Busch 20x46 Monokular

Das 20x46 Monokular oder Spektiv der Fa. Busch (W. Rabe) aus Rathenow stammt ca. aus den Jahren 1920-30 (Ser. Nr. 252595). Es zeichnet sich durch eine sehr gute Optik mit hohem Diotprienausgleich und einem Gewicht von nur 367g aus. Es ist aus schwarz lackiertem Aluminium gefertigt und Leder ummantelt.
Es ist 265mm (bis 275mm) lang und hat einen Durchmesser von 52mm. Die Austrittspupille ist 2,3 mm und der Objektivdurchmesser 46mm.

In einem 20er Jahre Prospekt der Fa. Busch finden sich fast identische Angaben (Preis damals 72 Reichsmark).

This 2x46 monocular or spotting scope made by Busch (W. Rabe), Rathenow dates from 1920 to 1930 (ser.no. 252595). Its good optics are remarkable. It has a wide dioptre range, weighs 367g, and is made of black painted aluminium, covered with leather.

There is almost identical data in a Busch brochure of the 20s (price at that time 72 Reichsmark).

 
 

Das vorliegende Exemplar hat noch eine Papp-Schutzkappe für das Objektiv und es wurde von einem Vorbesitzer mit einem Metallring mit Stativgewinde ausgerüstet.
Im "Optische Industire Museum Rathenow" befindet sich ein Exemplar mit grüner Ummantelung und Seriennummer 252546. Der Objektivring ist mit "Germany" beschriftet

The copy here comes with a cardboard cover for the objective lens. Some pre-owner must have added the metal ring with a thread that you can see in the photo.
In the "Optical Industry Museum Rathenow" there is a model with a green covering and serial number 252546 on display. The objective frame is marked "Germany".
